We are so much more than books (but we do have almost 30,000 of those, too!). Other things to do at the library include:
Laminating $1.00 per foot
Copies $.20 per black & white sheet; $0.50 for color. (Tax included in prices)
Computer laser printing $.20 per copy for black and white; $.50 per color print. (Tax included in prices). Public computers may be used for up to 30 minutes once per day.
Internet Access - Must sign a user agreement form and sign in and out at front desk. Free Internet services provided by Cozad Telephone. Wireless access is also available throughout the library.
Faxing $1.00 per page outbound; $1.00 per page incoming (tax included)
Conference & Board Rooms - The Board Room is available for groups and must be scheduled in advance to guarantee availability. The Conference Room is also available for meetings and must be scheduled in advance to guarantee availability. Both rooms require a deposit of $20 (refundable upon inspection after the event). Equipment (dvd, vhs, projector, etc.) is available at this time for organizations to use in a meeting. There may be other restrictions regarding meeting protocol due to COVID-19 depending on information provided by Two Rivers Health Department. Please call us at 784-2019 for more information if you are interested in scheduling a meeting. You may always click on our Calendar tab above to see what's happening at the library. You must sign a user agreement form available at the front desk before the day of using rooms.
Outreach - Home delivery of library materials available upon request. Must fill out an application at either the front desk or byCONTACTING US.
Inter-Library Loan - If we do not have an item on our shelf, we can ask another library to loan it to us for up to a month. The fee is $2.00 plus postage.
Book Drop - on the north side of the building; most items fit and this option is available 24/7/365. Please do not return backpacks in the book drop.
Talking Books - offered through the Nebraska Library Commission, there is a registration process. For more information, stop by the front desk or go here.
Large Print Books - we have a large collection; look for the special label LP for fiction books in the catalog. We offer some nonfiction and religious titles as well; call us and we can let you know if we carry a title in large print.
Books on cd/cassette - our cassette collection is rapidly shrinking, but we do have some still available. As well, we do have a large adult fiction and nonfiction selection on cd. Remember, we have downloadable audio books, too (see DOWNLOADABLE BOOKS for more information).
Dvds/VHS - our video cassette collection is also shrinking, but we have over 1300 dvds available. Patrons may check out 3 at a time with a checkout period of 3 days. Be careful! Overdue charges are $1.00 per dvd/VHS per day. You can search ourcatalogto see if we carry a specific title.
Book Clubs - we have three for adults! One meets monthly all year long at the library or different locations (check our NEWSLETTER for location) on the first Tuesday of the month at 1:00. Everyone welcome! Pick up a sheet at the front desk to see what we're reading, or check out theNEWSLETTER. Kim's Book Club meets August-April on the 3d Monday of the month at 10:00AM. Her book list is at the front desk and also listed on the NEWSLETTER. On the first Wednesday of each month at 7 or 7:30pm, at various locations around town, there is a not-your-average girl's night out, where we discuss a different book every time. This reading list is also available at the front desk and the current selection and meeting place/time is listed in the NEWSLETTER. There are also several book clubs for youth. Check our newsletter for more information.
Adult Coloring Club - This club meets in the main area at 10:30 every Wednesday. Bring your coloring book and pencils or have them provided for you.
Crafternoons - Every month on the 3rd Tuesday starting at 4:00. Generally registration is required. Check ourNEWSLETTERfor what's happening.
Chess & Puzzles - generally in the main area of the library. You can always ask the front desk for availability.
Magazines & Newspapers - We have over 30 physical magazines (search theONLINE CATALOG)in the library and carry the Tri City Tribune, the Lexington Clipper, the Gothenburg Times, the North Platte Telegraph, the Kearney Hub, and the Omaha World Herald. There are also many digital magazines available on Overdrive/Libby (see Downloadable Items).
Cake Pans -Yes! We have a lot to choose from and you have a week to use. An alphabetical listing for your convenience:

Backpacks: You can check a backpack out for one week (one per family, please). Each backpack has multiple things you can do; activities, dvds, cds, games, and more! Here's an alphabetical list of what we have:
Maker Space Technology: See us for Legos, Makey Makeys, OSMO, Ozobot Robots -2, Sphero Edu Sprk+ robot, Squishy circuits, handheld camcorders, LittleBits, Multi-card reader, Goldie Blox, and much more.
